The girls who clean room very helpful and friendly. Owner helped cut up my breakfast when asked if he could. Owners were just not particularly friendly. Found them standoffish.
Absolutely brilliant place, lovely decor & comfy bed. We will definitely return again, hosts were so friendly & really felt nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful breakfast would definitely recommend anyone to stay here
A BEAUTIFUL PLACE GREAT ROOM AND GREAT BREAKFAST
This was one of my better places I have stayed in and I have stayed in many places within the UK. Everything about it impressed me. Every detail was exemplary. The bedroom was superb and the shower room. The cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast room was light and airy. The breakfast was presented and cooked superbly but most of all was the friendliness of the owners and the staff. Even before I arrived, when I spoke on the phone to them, nothing was a problem for them, totally professional and warm. The welcome and the leaving was again warm and helpful. Thank you so much for my stay, have recommended this place already.
We have stayed at The Palmerston rooms a few times now. It's a lovely, friendly place to stay. We couldn't recommend it enough. My little girl left a cuddle toy in the Thai restaurant across the road. We had to check out before they were open. The owner went there got it for us and posted it back to us. Warm and friendly family run business. Great customer service that seems to be lacking in so many other companies these days. We will always stay there when we are visiting that part of the country.
