Lovely stay as ever. Stayed here several times over the past 6 years and is always clean, warm and welcoming.
Whilst the rooms were of the usual standard for Premier Inn, was not happy that the hot water in the morning was off. Now I can understand if the boiler goes it's not their fault but there was no notification to guests and it had gone down the night before and it took over 6 hours for a plumber to arrive.
Staff are very nice but the hotel needs some work. The WiFi is abysmal, keeps cutting out and when it does work you would think you was on dial up, the heating was poor as was the water pressure in the shower. Premier Inn need to realise it's approaching 2019 and things like this matter to paying guests. Top marks to the lovely staff though.
Very rude staff. Kept waiting ages.Beefeater next door was even worse.Had to sit and endure the shameless flirting between a female staff member and what I believe to be a new male member of staff.Waited too long to order Too long for starter to arrive, even longer for main to arrive.When they finally came to clear table it was only half completed when she was distracted by the new member of staff.Waited and waited for the desert menu by which time I asked if I could have the bill as we had already been in the restaurant 2.5 hours.We then had to wait again for the bill then again for my change.All the shrieking and laughter from the staff who were obviously not interested in the few customers was certainly not welcome when we had already waited far too long.Had to eventually go and ask for my change.If I could rate this place any lower I would as it is a disgrace. Would advise every one to avoid.
Great Motel style accommodation with the usual great standard of cleanliness and comfortable beds. We went for breakfast at the attached beafeater which was pleasant. Only 4 stars as the room on the second floor was too warm, no air conditioning to keep the temperature down.
