Sorry, decor great after the fire but your menu, oh dear, you can't offer cheese as an extra on a burger!!! Presented as fries in a small dish and a burger looking like it came out of maccie d's, no garnish what so ever. Oops please change your menu back!
3 stars? It feels like it should be more! Receptionist and the rest of the staff are friendly, helpful, kind and polite. Food is brilliant. Moreover, rooms are spacious , comfortable and clean! Would highly recommend to everybody!

We only stayed for one night but we thought that The Potters Heron was very good.The staff were friendly and made us welcome.Our room was clean and comfortable.The hotels new decor is very nice and breakfast was ok.
We had our daughters wedding at the Potters and it was a great day. All the staff were brilliant the rooms we used were lovely and it felt like we had the run of the hotel.We stayed for 2 nights one before and one after and the rooms were nicely done and we even changed rooms so we could be nearer the Garden room as we were having our Grandson in our room after the wedding and could use the baby monitor to keep an eye on him.Breakfast was good as they set up in which room is available on the day since the fire.The food for the reception was brilliant everyone said how good their meals wereWe had photos in the garden which was nice, not just being indoorsAll in all we had a very good stay and brilliant wedding and would highly recommend the Potters for a wedding
