The food was ok, the service as a joke had to go and ask 3 time's them to bring out a birthday cake after twenty minutes they brought it out, and we had to ask for plate's had to wait again and we was given napkins. The sad part it wasn't busy never go there again
Your standard English pub restaurant. Atmosphere was cozy and the staff friendly. Has a nice amount of space both indoors and outdoors, with a small play area for kids at the back of the garden. For Romsey prices the drinks are reasonable, however true value for money can be found in their food: really nice food that wasn't overpriced and an offering of many different sauces and customization for dishes. My girlfriend was impressed by the vegan falafel burger, and I was very impressed by the vegan brownie! Would definitely recommend, but nothing makes it exceptional to warrant a five star rating.
Best meal around menu wise.....piping hot food with great service....hunters chicken,steak and ale pie,sirloin steak,sausage and mash with shallots....good menu to chose from.....book to avoid disappointment
Quite busy when we arrived but a table was available fairly quickly. It's a find your own table kind of pla e but you can book. Service was very fast and the food was nice. Not too expensive and the lunch time menu is very fairly priced.
If you are having a Christmas meal here you are in for a treat. The food was amazing along with the services. I am looking forward to a return visit next year and not just at Christmas. Well done to all the staff for your hard work.
