Great little bit of local train history. Well maintained with very knowledgeable volunteers and a nice little cafe.
A unique place with plenty of interest and a nice little cafe.
Fantastic little signal box that makes the perfect attraction for any rail fan. The signal box really works, and staff give a full demonstration on how the signals, levers, bell codes etc. work before inviting you to try for yourself! Lots of history is on display featuring not just the signal box but a lot of the signal infrastructure around Romsey. The staff are very informative and love to tell you all about the place and its past. A small cafe is on site serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. I very much enjoyed my hot cuppa and slice of Victoria sponge whilst gazing out the window at the tracks. The mainline railway just behind the site is the perfect backdrop, too. Loved my visit today and can highly recommend it!
Love this place you get to pull levers In the signal box see how things work and more come to this place it's open twice a month
Great place to spend a couple of hours. Pull levers in the original signal box and move signals and points. Other exhibits and a fantastic value cafe.
