Interesting blend of Italian and English cuisine (although mostly Italian!). Exceptional service, professional and cosy dining area, and a good selection of drinks and food. The five star rating is given without a doubt to the food and service. I had the cannelloni, my partner had the risotto and both were exceptional - and this was after two exceptional starters that had us almost begging the host to give us the recipe (garlic mushrooms and deep fried mozzarella).Mainly though it was the attitude of the staff who were personable, helpful, and genuinely seemed as though they really cared about making our night as enjoyable as possible. Lived in Romsey all my life and cannot believe that I had never been to Keats before, will now be going many more times!

Was here for a 90th years birthday lunch. The food was spot on, generous portions, nice homemade comfort food. Friendly staff.

It might be a little bit expensive for the "working class" like us but this restaurant is definitely for those liking the special attention, the portions are just enough but so deliciously Italian, that you just want to order everything from the menu. The fact that without reservation you won't get in tells everything how good is the place. The owner himself welcoming the arriving guests and he's always making sure you have everything to enjoy the evening. I'm sure we'll see him more in the future. I'm a big fan of Italian cuisine and their kitchen is very very authentic. Thank you sir!

My brother arranged a big-number birthday meal here for family and friends. The seating accommodation was generous and well thought out: in the round (well square), king Arthur style. Our orders came quickly and the wine was good. Chef was thorough in his craft and popped-out to explain why he had made necessary tactical substitutions. No pressure to hurry and very lovely helpful staff servicing us. Great!

Made to feel very special on arrival. Our meal from starter to dessert was first class. The lamb was delicious after a melon cocktail which was very refreshing. Excellent surroundings too
