Quiet on a cold winters day. Fish house very interesting with tea and cake most welcome in the cafe.
Probably the worst and rudest salesman I have ever seen in my life this doesnt concern me he wasnt rude to me but I saw him talk like a piece of dirt to another customer who asked a polite and courteous question I have no doubt in my mind that their product is good but manners and courtesy Cost nothing if they offered me fish for nothing for which is what I went in for I still would not go there. I left there disgusted by the way the customer was spoken to and from there went to Cadnam Aquatics and had a totally different experience I was spoken to politely and nothing was too much trouble even though it cost me more in petrol that is where I will definitely be going in future unfortunately I had to give one star to give this review I wouldve give zero.
This place is one of my favourite fish stores to come to. Every time I come here all the staff are cheery and willing to have a chat and help with anything. Many reviews call the place run down and empty though they have all been written during out of season times such as in the winter months. For a full experience 100% come here in the peak of the summer when there are beautiful pond plants flourishing and a whole range of both livestock and products in stock. The cafe is also great, I recommend the afternoon tea as it consists of incredibly tasting scones and sandwiches for such a reasonable price as you sit and watch the beautiful koi swim below your feet.
Poor choice of fish and dry goods, seems a little run down. A staff member was helpful, but they didn't have the fish in stock. Only 30 minutes from home. Any further and I would be really unhappy with the store. 2 stars only because staff was helpful
The Romsey World Of water is the idea spot for any fish supplies! Also home to various fountains and garden features. The cafe on site is great for a little treat and coffee too! The large lake is lovely to look out on and you can purchase fish food from the shop too!
